Hi Everyone
Just a quick card I made yesterday and didn't get a chance to post.
I'm still loving all my circle punches and scallop punches and trying to find different ways to incorporate them into a card. This card was a snap to put together. I'm also really loving the convenience of the SU stamp set Heard from the Heat that is new from Stampin Up's 2008 Fall Winter catalog.
Makes those quick cards come together so nicely.
Hope everyone is having a great day.
Enjoy,
Tammy

Hi Everyone
I love the color pink and it's so hard not to make every card pink. So because I'm always creating cards that are pink for myself I have an abundance of pink scraps of card stock. I cased this sketch from another blog a few months back and thought was a good fit for using up my scraps of cardstock. Plus I couldn't help but throw in a scallop edge and some Taylor Tots.
Hope everyone is having a great Monday.
Hope you enjoy,
Tammy
p.s. Sorry the picture is so dark. I have a bad habit of stamping really late and taking my pictures late. It's much better to photograph pics during the day with good sunlight. I'll repost this picture so you can really see the nice monochromatic affect of the pink.

Hi Everyone

I made a trip to Michaels they other day and couldn't help but look through the dollar stamp bin. Wow am I glad I did. I never really have any Halloween stamps and never think to buy any until now. I was so excited with this cute witch on her broom. This is the first Halloween card I think I've ever made. I think it turned out ok for a first attempt. I'll have to try and break out of the traditional black, orange, yellow, and green color scheme though and see what I can come up with.

Hope you enjoy,

Tammy

Hi Everyone
I had the new SU! Pacific Point card stock just staring me down today.
It is such a fabulous color. I wanted to make a quick and easy Christmas card.
I've used the word window punch....one of my favorite punches along with the scallop boarder punch. I'm also still in love with the scallop circle punch affect.
Hope everyone is having a great Monday.
Enjoy,
Tammy

Hi Everyone
Just a quick card today. I was cruising around the site and ran across a challenge with this sketch.
I thought it was so cute and so fun and quick. A bonus too is that this is a great way to use up some scraps.
Hope you enjoy.

Hi Everyone
I was digging around in some of my card samples from years ago and ran across this card style. It is such a cute design and oh so easy. I cut a piece of 8.5 x 11 piece of card stock in half on the vertical. The I used a circle punch and punched out half circles on each side of the card. In this card example I used a 1 1/4 circle punch due to the size of my ribbon. You'll want to adjust the size of the circle punch based on your ribbon size as well.
From there I just scored the card under the ribbon and then adhered the top part of the card so that the bottom of the card opened nicely.
I think it turned out so cute. Some of you may recognize the Stipple Butterfly from SU! from years ago. I still love this stamp and use it a lot with the technique of a blender marker and a stamp pad. Oh I almost forgot I also included some for embellishment.
Try it out I think you'll really enjoy what you can come up with.
Hope you enjoy,
Tammy

Hi Everyone

Just a quick card for today. I received the JustRite stamper this week and am getting a second chance to try it out. I'm loving it. I'm still working on getting the right size punch for the double layer look I prefer but until then I thought the Scallop punch from SU! did a good job of getting the look I wanted.

I also have a stack of designer paper that is full of lots of dark colors and I've been a bit stifled on how to use them. I think this layout and the use of the JustRite stamper will do the trick.

Hope you enjoy,

Tammy

Hi Everyone

Hope you are having a great Wednesday!

I found a great pattern for a card box that I've really enjoyed making and using because it's so easy to make and only uses one piece of 8.5 x 11 sheet of CS.

I also just recently got the JustRite monogram tool. I love it. It is so versatile. This picture is of a couple of card set's for some new friends from work.

I've got an Excel document that shows the illustration and the measurements. Email me if you'd like to have a copy of the instructions of the document.

Hope you enjoy,

Tammy

Hope you enjoy,

Hi Everyone
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
This card was part of a sketch challenge I participated in. I wanted to do something with the new SU Bella Rose Designer Paper that is in the new catalog starting Monday. Yeah!
I also used a brass stencil to get the polka dot's on the paper. I also found these great pearls at Hobby Lobby. I think it added a great touch to the mono color scheme I was going for.
Hope you enjoy,
Tammy

Hi Everyone
This is a stamp from Stampin' Up! that I have had for years. I've always loved it but believe it or not this is the first time I've inked it up. I know there are lots of us out there with uninked stamps. :-)
I'm really enjoying working with the new Bella Rose DSP that will be in the new Stampin' Up! catalog that you can begin ordering from on 8-12-08!
I can't wait. I've got tons of flags on the new catalog. You wont be disappointed.
Hope you enjoy,
Tammy

Hi Everyone

While the weather is still sweltering outside my thoughts are on Christmas and all they joy and fun that goes along with the season.

This sketch layout is part of the Verve Stamp challenge. I've had great fun working on sketch challenges. The challenges are great to be a part of and it's so interesting to see what other stampers come up with.

Hi Everyone
It's another day of Anni-Verve-sary sketch's. Check out Julie's blog at . She is blowing me away with all the great sketch challenges. It's been so much fun.
My sweetie is going out of town tomorrow so I wanted to make a card for him that was really mushy so he'd know I was really going to miss him.
This is what I can up with. I used the new Stampin' Up! In Colors coming out mid-August. Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette. I can't remember where I got the cute bird stamp. It's a clear unmounted stamp and I just used the masking technique to stamp the top image.
Hope you enjoy,
Tammy

Hi Everyone
I just recently got a new MFT stamp set....Here's the scoop. Another great stamp for your markers. I had a hard time deciding which delicious vibrant markers to use and just couldn't get started then I decided to just do it in black and white with a bit of pink accent and I was off.
Hope you enjoy,
Tammy

Hi Everyone
Wow Julie over at had another great sketch for your Anni-Verve-sary 12-day, 12-sketch challenge.
I decided to use this great Judi-Kins stamp that I've had for years along with some crazy DP I picked up at Michael's.
Hope you enjoy,
Tammy

Hi Everyone
I saw this Stationary Box on Jackie Topa's blog a few weeks ago and I'm finally finding the time to try it out. Check out Jackie's blog
Jackie even included a PDF with instructions and illustrations. Thanks Jackie!
I decided to use the new Designer Paper 'Bella Rose' from Stampin' Up!. It will be in the new catalog.
The one thing I'd change is the way that I attached the postage pocket. When you close it the stamps always fall out of the pocket. I'd turn it around so that the opening of the pocket it toward you when the box is open. I also decided to put return address labels in one of the pockets instead of the tag pocket that the original suggested.
Hope you enjoy,
Tammy

Hi Everyone
So on a regular basis I've been checking out a blog at . Every Friday they have a Cupcake Challenge sketch. Well it's time for me to get out from behind the curtain and play along. There are some great people who participate and I've found lots of inspiration while visiting the blog.
So for the sketch I used a MFT stamp 'Baby it's cold outside.' I am so in love with MFT stamps. They are great with the Tria markers I use or Copics for that matter. It has been so hot here lately and forecasted to be another hot week so I wanted to chill out and think of colder times.
I hope you enjoy the card,
Tammy

Hi Everyone
I found a great new sketch challenge at .
Go check them out.
I just love chubby birds. I saw a card sample a few weeks ago of a fantastic chubby bird stamp and new I had to have it. I think they are so cute.
Hope you enjoy,
Tammy

Hi Everyone
I was getting my hair cut Thursday night and I ran across a picture of the rock singer Avril Lavigne. You know her the Canadian singer, always wearing skater clothes. Anyway she had on an outfit that was black and pink and the skirt reminded me of this DSP.
It's kind of girlie and kind of had a rock vibe to it. This is my attempt as girly rock!
Hope you enjoy,
Tammy

Hi Everyone
I was thinking about an old friend that I haven't spoken to in years and I thought I'd send her a card to say Hi.
I have really been enjoying the Tria markers I purchased a few weeks ago. They are really great. You can't find a Copic marker to save your life in my town but we have plenty of Tria so I opted to invest in Tria instead of Copic. I rather prefer the Tria because it has three different tips unlike the Copic that only has two. Either way they are both great markers.
Plus I just got this MFT (My Favorite Things) stamp. They are perfect for using your markers.
Hope you enjoy the card.
Tammy

Hi Everyone
I've been looking around for some inspiration and have found some great blogs that really doing the trick.
I made this card with some Verve stamps I just got. They are so great and I've enjoyed working with the acrylic blocks.
Hope you enjoy,
Tammy

Here is my version on the AVS02 Sketch challenge over at .

Hi Everyone
I was able to order a sneak peak of the Stampin' Up! 2008-2009 Catalog. I created a card using a Level 2 hostess set, Deer Friends. Also the blue snowman card is made from the upcoming In Color collection, Baja Breeze.
This set is so cute and makes a quick card if you plan to send out hundreds of Christmas Cards this year. This will definitely be in my Christmas Card stash this year.
Hope you enjoy,
Tammy

Hi Everyone
I've just recently discovered Verve Stamps. It's a great company that offers some great stamps. On top of it all Julie from Poetic Justice started the stamp company Verve Stamps.
In honor of the one year anniversary Julie is hosting a 12-sketch challenge for some yummy gifts. I love the Verve stamps I have and of course would love to get my hands on the new ones coming out.
Here is my attempt at her first sketch.
Hope you enjoy,
