Anya Ink Challenge # 9

Hi Everyone
This weeks Anya Ink challenge was to create something with a Christmas theme.
I decided to do a little box that holds 12 individual boxes to hold treats and to count down the 12 days of Christmas.
The trees were cut out using the Winter Wonderland cartridge from Cricut.
*Update
To create this box I used two pieces of 6" x 6" chipboard for the base and the top. Next I created twelve matchboxes. I just measured out how big I wanted the matchboxes in comparison to how much of a lip I wanted on the 6"x6" chipboard. For the matchboxes it's just creating a box and then the wrapper that goes around them. Then you just glue the matchboxes together three high and then adhere to the chipboard. I've used buttons for the drawer handles. If you have digi stamp you could scale them down to fit into the space next to the drawers but I wanted to use TGF stamps and so I could only use the heads of Elf Anya and Mrs. Clause. Santa and Vivi are on the other side and are attached in full (not just their head).
Thanks so much for your visit.
Have a great day.
Tammy

  7. UGH! You are giving me cavities with all this fun paper candy!! I LOVE this box Tammy! Now here's a quick question - did you enlarge the Anyas on the side or are they regular size? The proportion is just perfect for the countdown! I was just looking at your tuts the other day as I linked back to your blog for the paper tote. BESUTIFUL as always my dear!!
